Early Screening for Lung Cancer (Rescheduled from July) Come learn about the new Low Dose CT Screening Program through Mission Health. LDCT screening for the detection of early stage lung cancer was shown to reduce mortality by 25%.  When lung cancer is detected at an early stage, the five-year survival rate increases approximately 10-fold. Without LDCT screening, lung cancer is usually not found until a person develops symptoms.  By then, the cancer is usually more advanced, and more difficult to treat. Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance will cover this screening. Come learn more about this early detection screening: Tuesday, August 22nd @ 3:00 in the Roof Garden. All smokers should attend!

Drawing Class w/ Sara This group will continue to meet at 6:00 pm, on Thursdays, in the Roof Garden throughout August.
